Joy

For this why You made me;
To write of Your love for me
Please forgive me Lord,
For You are my praise.

You are found in the weak moments of life;
There You are Lord, there You are.

Joyful,
Make me joyful
Joyful,
Make me joyful
For You are my Praise

Be my Peace Lord,
for I need You, I always need You,
This heart cries out
I need You!

When I cant see You;
I will still sing of Your Love;
I will still remember Your good.
For what ground do I stand on?
O Lord You know

Joyful
Make me joyful
Joyful,
Make me joyful
For You are my Praise

Joyful
Make me Joyful
Joyful,
Make me joyful
For You are my praise
For You are my praise

God, make my life complete
Don't leave me stranded
As long as Your here
Ill be okay
I will be okay

But if Your not, then why even live?
For I know Your the Answer
To all life's questions and problems

Joyful,
Make me joyful

Redemption

"the voice of mirth
and the voice of gladness,
the voice of the bridegroom
and the voice of the bride,
the voices of those who sing,
as they bring thank offerings
to the house of the Lord:

'Give thanks to the Lord of hosts,
for the Lord is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!'

FOR I WILL RESTORE THE FORTUNES
OF THE LAND AS AT FIRST SAYS THE LORD."
Jeremiah 33:11

The work of our Lord is redemption; its the story of His people and His love for them. They disobey over and over again, and yes there is consequences for their sin, for our God is Holy, however He always sings a song of Redemption over His people.

His greatest song yet;
was His Son Jesus
Singing all over us
With the True Blood
of the Lamb;
On that Day He sung
out Loud
'It is Finished'!
Were forgiven
Were free
His greatest song yet;
Jesus Christ my Lord!
My Redemption!

LETTING GO; IT's ALL YOURS ANYWAYS...

Then I Knew

"Then Hanamel my cousin came to me
in the court of the guard,
in accordance with the word of the Lord,
and said to me
'Buy my field that is at Anathoth in the land of Benjamin,
for the right of possession and redemption is yours;
buy it for yourself.'
THEN I KNEW that
this was the word of the Lord."
Jeremiah 32:8

When God tells us something, and then it comes to pass....this is the word of Lord. Then we know that nothing can thwart the plans He has for us. And in turn he proclaims:

"Behold, I will gather them from all
the countries to which I drove them in my anger and wrath
and in great indignation.
I will bring them back to this place, and I will make them
dwell in safety.
And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
I will give them one heart and one way,
that they may fear me forever,
for their own good and the good of their children after them.
I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them.
And I will put
the fear of me
in their hearts,
that they may not turn from me.
I will rejoice
in doing them good,
and I will plant them in this land
in faithfulness,
with all my heart
and all my soul."
Jeremiah 32:37-41

Then I knew Lord
that You are the Almighty
for You care about me
for You love me
with an everlasting love
with an everlasting love
My God let me know You
that Your plans are for good
and You rejoice
in doing so
and You rejoice
in doing so
O my God
You Rejoice!
In doing so!
In doing so
My Lord

Latter Days

Here is a spiritual truth that is very simple yet very profound:

"In the latter days you will understand this." Jeremiah 30:24

There doesn't need to be much explanation here, but we must not forget we see life through a very very very very narrow lens. God sees in a WHOLE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LENS.

Oh and btw He IS good.

Lord give us eyes to see. Ears to hear, hearts to understand, that we may be healed. Amen.

'For I Know'

And here we are finally brought to the famous verse of Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you,
plans for welfare and not for evil
to give you a future
and a hope."

What amazes and comforts me about this verse is, God knows. I don't know. I want to know, but I cannot. I want to know, but I cannot. Its hidden. Unrevealed, yet good. Unrevealed, but good. But how do I know? Well, that's the reason there is faith, that's the reason there is trust, that's the reason we are called to hope and love in a God we cant see. Your not supposed to know.

Peace?

"Do not listen to them (the lying prophets);

serve the king of Babylon

and live.

Why should this city become a desolation."

Jeremiah 27:17

Our natural minds cannot comprehend these type of things. 'If you want to live, then serve the evil Babylonian empire and its prideful king.' The moral of the entire book of Jeremiah has to be 'God is in utter control'. Whether that means things are looking great around us , or things are looking grim around us. God is still in utter control. Oh and by the way you are not God and therefore wont understand fully everything that goes on around you in the world and in your own individual life. Let me repeat this, you wont FULLY understand everything your entire life you live on Earth. There isn't enough Wikipedias, Encyclopedias, Google searches to be able to grasp the knowledge and power of the One True King. We must submit to the Lord and trust that even though were called to serve a Babylonian king, we still are walking in the will of God. It makes no sense. But again, we are not God and we must trust that He is Good.

Huh?

I Cannot

"If I say,
'I will not mention Him,
or speak anymore in His name,'
there is in my heart
as it were a burning fire
shut up in my bones,
and I am weary holding it in,
and
I cannot."
Jeremiah 20:9

At times it feels like you hear "the whisperings" of others. This may or may not be the reality, but you sense the opposition or disgust. Most of the time, its those closest to us, at other times, outsiders that don't really know you. Either way, we cannot give in and become someone we aren't for their liking, for their molding, and ultimately for their pleasure. Friends and family would have you be one way, whereas God has put Himself inside you for another Way. Sometimes these are the same, but I wonder how many times they truly are not. Again Jeremiah praises God not because of his amazing circumstances, but because He is God. Jeremiah continues to say 'for to you have I committed my cause.' Even in the midst of opposition and the hidden blank portrait people paint of you and your life, stands the call of God and His statement about you; "For I know the plans I have for you". It hurts though, it doesn't feel good when your the outsider. But, 'I cannot'. I will always be a servant of the Lord, 'I cannot' stop.

"Sing to the Lord;
praise the Lord!
For he has delivered the life of the needy
from the hand of evildoers."
Jeremiah 20:13

Amen.

Reworking

May we shout for praise to our King!!

"and he reworked it into another vessel"
Jeremiah 18:4

Yes Lord here I am,
mold me,
use me,
the first attempt was spoiled
But mold me again,
use me again,
Let my lips praise You!

Jesus, transform me into the man You want me to be
Please create an awe of You in me
I love You.
Amen.

Worship

"A glorious throne
set on high from the beginning
is the place of our sanctuary."
Jeremiah 17:12

There is a war that wages,
Its between self and God;
May He win!
May He win!

"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
FOR YOU ARE MY PRAISE."
Jeremiah 17:14

Our hearts are going to worship;
Our God made us so,
So let this heart praise you God!
Let this body dance and this mind work
Let my soul sing
Yes my soul sings!
Let not my anxiety control me,
But let the Spirit bear its fruit
Much fruit!
God be praised.
Amen!

Who's Will?

We have 2 wills to follow:

The will of God

or the will of self

"and because you have done worse than your fathers
for behold
every one of you follows his
stubborn,
evil will,
refusing to listen to me."
Jeremiah 16:12

"give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
1 Thessalonians 5:18

As you see, our will produces stubborn rebellious hearts, whereas the will of God produces a heart full of thankfulness.

May we follow the will of God. Amen.

With you

"For I am with you,
to save you,
and deliver you declares the Lord."
Jeremiah 15:20

God keeps reminding Jeremiah this verse over and over throughout the book. "I am with you, to save you, and to deliver you." Its a simple statement and a reminder, but it has deep meaning and power. Jeremiah is in the midst of adversity and looking at the people he was called to lead, he sees absolutely no results, no true repentance, and to make matters worse, backsliding. That can be a crushing thing. When your invested in the lives of others, its hard to not be frustrated. We are even frustrated with ourselves left alone. Now God was calling Jeremiah to speak and prophecy against a nation that wanted nothing to do with God. An impossible task, however Jeremiah listened and obeyed and therefore God "had his back". And not only to save him, but to deliver him.

Cling to Me

"For as the loincloth clings to the waist of a man,
so I made the whole house of Israel
and the whole house of Judah
cling to me,
declares the Lord,
that they might be for me a people,
a name,
a praise,
and a glory,
but they would not listen."
Jeremiah 13:11

God would have us cling to Him, we would find our Home. We would find our praise, finally a true name, and in return share in His glory.

Israel and Judah didn't cling to God and therefore "refuse to hear my words, who stubbornly follow their own heart and have gone after other gods to serve them and worship them, SHALL BE LIKE THIS LOINCLOTH, which is good for nothing."

When we are away from God, not clinging to Him out of proper relation, The Creator and the creature, we are ultimately "playing" god. We think we are God. Since it would require humility and "vertical awe" to have a relationship with God, the right and proper one.

Cling to Me. That is always God says here. That's His Heart and His purpose for our lives.

Brethen, Cling. Amen.

So Be It

"...Then I answered,
'So be it, Lord."
Jeremiah 11:5

Common threads of the book of Jeremiah is the stubbornness of our evil hearts.

Jeremiah shockingly understands; he "gets it".

"So be it, Lord."

Its a very simple answer, but very profound. It tells the difference between someone resting underneath the sovereignty of God and someone who is objecting the will of God.

There are many times I don't want it to be "So be it, Lord" , or rather "It is well with my soul" God.

No there are many times where I don't want to answer God like this.

Jeremiah was resilient , "for to you have I committed my cause" even in the midst of people who wanted to take his very life.

Something is either very true with Jeremiah or he is insane. That is how you take Scripture. Either its very true or very insane.

Maybe the people of Israel thought what Jeremiah was saying was "insane". I don't know. They didn't want to listen that's for sure.

Not everyone is going to listen and repent. That's a truth of the Bible.

But we as Christians, must continually say "So be it, Lord" and follow after His call and will for our lives. There we find our true purpose and peace.

"Whatever my lot, Thou hast TAUGHT me to say, 'It is well, it is well , with my soul..."

Living God

"But the Lord is the true God;
he is the living God
and the everlasting King..."
Jeremiah 10:10

We do not serve a God,
that is small and wooden,
nor is He contained by a molden hot tool
He is the King of Kings
and the Lord of Lords
We do not serve a God,
that bows down to us
or whistles at us as if we are dogs,
He is the Great I am
"Who shall I tell them who sent me?"
Tell them I AM sent you
We do not serve a God
that is made by humans hands
by human minds
by human desires
We serve the Living God.
The
Living
God.

These Things

"Thus says the Lord:
Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom,
let not the mighty man boast in his might,
let not the rich man boast in his riches,
but let him who boasts boast in this,
that he understands
and knows
Me,
that I am the Lord
who practices
steadfast love,
justice,
and righteousness in the earth.
For in THESE THINGS I delight,
declares the Lord."
Jeremiah 9:23-24

Steadfast love, justice, and righteousness are the things that God delights in. Not our pursuit for the world's wisdom, the world's definition of strength, and of course the world's riches.

Again how ironic to run after the things of the world, when the things of God are genuinely GOOD THINGS. LOVE , JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Why not live for these things?

Wisdom

"Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord,
so what wisdom is in them"?
Jeremiah 8:9

Its really ironic as Christians that we "feel" obligated to learn the wisdom of the world. As if we haven't discovered the Absolute Truth of Jesus Christ, we are looking to the world for its wisdom and advice on how to live. Most of it pertains to the American Lifestyle in homes, cars, and careers. Its ironic that the Word of God stays on our bookshelf or only slightly opens on our iphones on Sunday Morning, while the entire week is devoted to parenting and work. We have the wisdom of the Lord, and yet we are constantly turning the world and asking it for justification: "Is my retirement account okay"? "I spend this amount on groceries, what about you?" We all do it. Its the comparison that not only reveals our lack of trust in God and His plan for our lives, but also the fear that is deeply embedded in each of us, which truly is the great sin of Pride. We pride ourselves on being better than the next couple next to us. 'The Next Man' , we are nowhere near his level of insanity or inferiority. That is the problem with us, we have rejected the Word of the Lord, and therefore have absolutely NO WISDOM.

Again how ironic it must be that we who have ABSOLUTE WISDOM, look to the world who has ABSOLUTELY NO WISDOM.

"Turn and be healed". Amen.

Scorn

"behold, the Word of the Lord
is to them an object
of scorn;
they take no pleasure in it"
Jeremiah 6:10

The definition of scorn : the feeling or belief that someone or something is worthless or despicable; contempt

How many times do we stubbornly and rebelliously scorn the things of God? It isn't well with our souls in these times.

O but how glorious is the Word of God!

"The Law of the Lord
is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord
is sure,
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the Lord
are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord
is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the Lord
is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord
are true,
and righteous altogether.

MORE to be desired are they than GOLD,
EVEN MUCH FINE GOLD;
sweeter also than HONEY
and drippings of the HONEYCOMB."
Psalm 19:7-10

Not The Full End of You

"But even in those days
declares the Lord,
'I will not make a full end of you."
Jeremiah 5:18

Israel was unrepentant , however God wasn't fully going to destroy them.

God isn't out to screw us. He isn't out to completely make our lives miserable. The sin and unrepentant heart of Judah and Israel created their own misery.

We create our own misery at times, if not almost always. There are things outside of our control, but we can come to Lord in surrender and humility and repent and thus be healed.

It doesn't mean we will get that next sell or promotion or the new Lexus. But it means that we are in the fold of God and pressing into His grace. Glorious Grace.

'It is finished'

Jesus did not make an end to anyone, yet he brought Hope to ALL men.

Now, accept Him and follow.

Wash Your Heart

If your having wicked thoughts, don't ask God to cleanse your mind, but wash your heart."

Thursday, October 22, 2015

Faithlessness

"Return, O faithless sons;
I will heal your
faithlessness."

And our response without pretense is:

"Behold, we come to You,
for You are the Lord our God."

Jeremiah 3:22

It would appear we are broken if we lack faith

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

Pretense

"Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me with
her whole heart,
but,
in pretense,
declares the Lord."
Jeremiah 3:10

The definition of pretense is such:

"an attempt to make something that is not the case appear true"

We do this alot. We say things like "oh God forgive me" and then turn around a second later and act the same way or do the same thing, etc. We are pretending.

When we truly repent, its with our whole heart, which produces newness and a clean heart / contrite spirit. This in turn leads to a true change and life alteration.

Other than that its just pretense and worthless.

The Essence of Sin

" for my people have committed two evils:
they have forsaken me,
the fountain of living waters,
and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water."

"They have made offerings to other gods and worshipped the works of their own hands."

"What wrong did your fathers find in me
that they went far away from me,
and went after worthlessness, and became worthless."

Here we see something that is difficult to understand. The moment you walk away from God, is the moment you walk into something else less than God. This is the essence of Sin. Rebellion. Pride. Selfishness.

Most of us don't think of us literally or even spiritually "forsaking or running away" from God. But in the essence of sin , that is exactly what we are doing / choosing. Its a choice

"Behold, I will bring you to judgment for saying, 'I have not sinned'."

"Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; the fear of me is not in you, declares the Lord God of hosts."

"Have you not brought this upon yourself by forsaking the Lord your God, when he led you in the way? And now what do you GAIN by going to Egypt to drink the waters of the Nile? Or what do you gain by going to Assyria to drink the waters of the Euphrates?"

"Turn the Page"

We listened to a great sermon today.

When I would or do pray in my mind "Lord cleanse my mind" , it was to remove all false thoughts that were falling/coming at me at the moment. Its a prayer.

"Turn the page" is more of saying but you could make it your prayer like Paul.. "Forgetting the things behind and pressing onto the future prize"  In essence its a prayer to move on and have a healing that can cause you to be at peace in the moments ahead.

"Lord renew my mind"

"Dear God, forgive me"

" Dear God, I'm sorry"

"Place Your angels around us"

"Protect Millie's heart , her mind, her body, and her soul"

These are prayers I pray.

But I need to pray them.

Not say them.

Disgusted

The more and more I live , the more and more I realize that acceptance is a big thing....Wait... the idol in my life isn't comfort, it isn't money.... Its success.

I have to be successful.

Which seems like a good thing. But I am constantly under the false scrutiny of what other perceive to be "success"

I am too concerned about what others think. What they might define as success. For some just going to work is a success, for some its being the lead sales guy, for others its getting to the "final bell".

So its comes down to what I think success is and here it is: A nice solid bank account, nice real estate investment, a really nice business, and then comes the luxury of sitting on top of the pile and going on vacations and just making money without working hard anymore...

Yeah that is my definition of success.

I should be disgusted to call myself a Christian.

Even You

Even You know, that not all, will choose You....yet You still love every single one of us. To the point of death on a cross, You laid Your life down for us. Sinners, wretched and full of wickedness.

May we accept You and not be so foolish

Amen.

Believing and Confessing : A Heart Thing

"For they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God."

There is always this urge or temptation, or sinful desire, that makes us want for others to accept us and to ultimately praise us. In return we share in their satisfaction with us and ultimately we feel good about us. I think this is the glory that comes from man.

Now it isn't entirely awful or sinful to enjoy ones company. Or to love your neighbor or family member, etc. Of course, this right and good. But I'm referring to this desire to please man and in return get something back.

With God, we have a relationship. We are always in the needy sheep position to our Good Shepherd. We always truly need Him. We truly only find happiness with Him. But as we should all know we like to wander away from The Good Shepherd in pastures we think are better. Which is the root of sin, finding something "better" than God. Which is stupid. But yes we are like "sheep led to the slaughter".

If in business we are constantly gazing at the future and the glory we will receive from man by our works, we have ultimately forfeited our relation with God and His glory. God wants to do more than what we think or can imagine. But its our sin and lust that causes us to really miss out on the blessings God has intended.

We can believe something and yet live our lives as if we never have truly confessed what we believe.
This is rooted in the fear of what man will ultimately decide about us by our beliefs. And then in turn I think you find the most miserable people in this life, the people pleasers.

Now it would be easy to swing to the other side of the pendulum. Well to avoid people pleasing I will dislike people all together. This is the hipster movement. Hah. Just kidding, but something close to it.

So how do you receive the glory that comes from God and not man?

That my friends is always, "Where is thy heart? For there your treasure will be."

God is always Faithful

Why do I always get it wrong?
Why is my focus always on this world?
When I could be "dancing to the rhythm of Your heart"?
I think its Time to start really pursuing God again.
And enjoy work without worrying if someone is going to leave you or not.
God is always faithful.
Why does it even have to be about work?
When will it be about Joy?
Love?
Peace?
Why do I always get it wrong?
Will I ever get it right?

Home

It always feels good to be home after you have been away for a vacation , I wonder what it will feel like when we get to Heaven since we've been away from our true Home for all our lives ?

What I hold

What if I were to stand atop this Mountain?
And shout that You are King
What if I were to look upon my enemies
With Triumph

What if I were to sit in this valley?
And be silent
Knowing that You are looking at me
With Love

There is no God but You
A Fragrance
Of Death
or Life is what I hold
There is no God but You

Then I Missed It

When I look "back"
Will I see myself?
Or will I see
You?

Was I always looking at me?
Was it all about
What I wanted?

Or was it more than I
My things
My goals
Or did I remember it was always
You?

That I will see You soon
Your beauty
Your face
As I look up when You say

"Well done"

Will I look "back"
And see myself
Or will it be You

Wisdom is not measured in age
Age is not a guarantee of sanctification
It does not validate
Gray hair is nice
But its not holy

If my life is year after year
Looking
Looking
At me

Then I missed it

Throwback

Here is a Throwback ...

Thoughts for the Day: June 25th 2013

How much is my joy tied to my performance at work? How much is it tied to the things I own or do not own? How much is it tied to money itself, whether savings or debits?  Where indeed does my faith lie? Where indeed does my very existance get its worth? Is that not what we are after: Worth?

To be blunt: What makes Tim happy? What makes Tim not happy?

How comfortable is happiness when things are going well, how tragic and uncomfortable things are when things arent going well…but the problem with that , means we do not want to suffer. And suffer we must if are to be Christians. There it is; we don’t want to suffer…not like our Christ, not like our Jesus, who was naked and hung on a tree. Whipped and spit on, mocked and cursed, forsaken by his people, the ones he created, the ones he loved…no we don’t want to suffer like this. It would hurt.

But if we are called to suffer, than how do we believe as Christ did that there is much joy in suffering?

Society has not only tattooed our skin with comfort, it has penetrated our hearts. Our bodies. Our minds. But Socitey is not to blame. We are to live here. As Christians. We are not to blame culture, but to be different, different in an aspect called living holy. Separated unto God.

Suffer we must, suffer we will, if in fact we live as Christians here on this earth… if not we will be miserable. Un-effective for Christ. ..

Take Time to be Loved

Perfect love casts out fear...

If I find myself fearing the future, the past, or the present...it is because my trust in Jesus is non existent.

Do I really trust God?

If I say I do, but then fear, why? Perfect love casts out fear....

TAKE TIME TO BE LOVED.

We don't do this.

TAKE TIME TO BE LOVED.

Think. Pray. Worship. All about the perfect love that was shed on the Cross. Jesus Himself.

Cast it all out Amen.

Approval

"If God is for us, who can be against us?"

We need not fear man's approval. We have already been approved by God.

The Holy Spirit is the mystery man cannot find out without His revealing, therefore "that which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spririt"

God has already revealed His greatest gift to us and if that isn't enough for us, then we ought to be ashamed and "prepare the sackcloth"

We don't need mans approval for our justification

We can pray God gives us favor with man, but we don't ultimately need mans approval or justification of our worth...

"If God is for us, who can be against us"

Fight and be filled. Amen

Living for Jesus

"IF then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God."

In regards to the Holy Spirit, do we seek His counsel or direction in our daily lives? Do we look to Him for answers? Do we daily ask Him for guidance? Probably not...

I think probably not because we are focused on the things that are here. The things that are not seated at the right hand of God.

"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

I don't think this is rocket science, or secret language. Paul is saying very clearly, quit focusing on things on earth.

But why?

I think that when we start looking at things above, we finally can accurately see things here on earth. When we set our minds on eternal things, we can finally set our eyes on the needs of this earth.

This isn't a "head in the clouds" type of living. This certainly isn't about not being able to function because all we think about are angels and white skies with golden gates.

This is about God. This is about Jesus and this is about The Holy Spirit.

Paul continues to talk about putting the old self to death. He keeps going back to these earthly "cant keep my focus on God" things...which in turn are sins that we deal with daily. Some different than others, but ultimately our daily struggles...

So our mentality daily must be that of a fighter. Unfortunately sometimes I feel like being a good Christian means to be nice and soft. But I think the opposite is true, it means to be a warrior that is trying to win a race. Paul talks like this a lot in the New Testament. "Fight the good fight" "Train" "Pursue" "Flee" and on and on...

So when it comes to setting our minds on things that are above, it will be a fight. It wont be easy, but the reward is a renewed vision for what we call "Today" or rather "Now"

If the Holy Spirit would come do a work through us and in us, we must submit our minds to Christ. Our focus must be eternal. And this requires action on our parts, it requires some "doing", putting on the Armor of God, putting to death the old self, renewing our minds with Scripture, rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and ETC.

So quit worrying about your 401K. Quit worrying about the next house you will buy in 10 years. Quite worrying about the next sell. Quit worrying about the next "save up for this" and start truly living and that is living for the eternal...

Ultimately, its living for Jesus...

Be Filled

There is a river of life that's here , there is a river of grace that's here...your invited to come and swim within...

We have at every moment, every hour, a chance to be filled with The Holy Spirit. You and I have this opportunity as believers to share and embrace this Person. Therefore the verse declares "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil." We have been entrusted with a great Deposit, therefore are we diligent or undisciplined trustees of the Holy Spirit? "Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is". The will of the Lord is our thanksgiving..."give thanks in all circumstances: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" Therefore it would be foolish to "quench" the Spirit within. The Spirit of God bears witness that we are His. So if we are His, then why not rejoice in this daily and be filled? "Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," Our worship is linked to our "making the best use of the time". Worship starved souls are utterly just that, dry. And dryness leads to unthankful hearts. Thus causing a "debauchery". A debauchery that is foolishly disobedient and miserable. When the Fountain of the Spirit is there to drink and thus being filled...thus making the words of Jesus true. "Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

So our time depicts our heart. We make time for what we love, or whom we love. We worship what we love, or whom we love...

The Spirit HAS been given, therefore we are called to be filled. "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with The Spirit."

Be filled.

Vent of 2015 (1st Edition)

Here I go again;
Worried about the future,
All I do is want gain.
Gain here gain there
What can I accumulate or up-grade around here?

You must offer something better?
Do I even know what to look for,
Tell me this isn't it
Tell me Your better and this isn't it
Please this cant be it!
