Our natural minds cannot comprehend these type of things. 'If you want to live, then serve the evil Babylonian empire and its prideful king.' The moral of the entire book of Jeremiah has to be 'God is in utter control'. Whether that means things are looking great around us , or things are looking grim around us. God is still in utter control. Oh and by the way you are not God and therefore wont understand fully everything that goes
