Never the Same

"Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain."
Psalm 127:1

I just woke up from a nap. Not a good dream. Hell is a place where bad dreams, rather nightmares, you never wake up from. Heaven will be more real than earth. I had to write a poem from this dream from the ever increasing awareness of this theme: "Man is always trying to justify their existence"

I am no longer bound
By my performances on the mound
Chained by wins and losses
By making happy all the bosses
I went up the ladder
Thinking once I got to the top
The world would never stop
I sat down on my chair
Yet I was still empty and full of despair
My life was a party full of decay
Trying to feed my justification every day
But nothing worked; no nothing worked
All was vanity and false sanity
Just a mere feeling of inconsequentiality
But in came Jesus.
And I have never been the same
No; I have never been the same
